| Insider Trading |
 |
The
buying or selling a security by insiders who possess material, nonpublic
information about the security. The act puts insiders in breach of
a fiduciary duty or other relationship of trust and confidence.
|
 |
A
definite no-no, but many are guilty of it!
Insider trading also includes tipping others when you are in possession
of nonpublic information. Directors are not the only ones at risk.
People such as brokers and even family members can be guilty. |
